Girls Day Out

I've been wanting to go to the Lone Star Antique Mall for quite a while now, so my friend Laurie and I made plans for a road trip..... it was well worth the wait, we had so much fun, found lots of goodies...... & had a wonderful lunch at their tea room.... and then more shopping! I wanted to share some pictures with you of some of the lovely things that were there!

I just love these old iron beds!

How fun are these

This photo and the next 3 belong to to Felicia from Bountiful.... We had the pleasure of meeting her and her friend Karen, they were so sweet we really enjoyed visiting with them. I had another picture of her booth but it's disappeared from this post, I took a lot more of her booth, because it was so pretty, but unfortunately they didn't turn out very good... but Laurie @ http://laurieannas.blogspot.com/ did get some pics of her booth that she will be sharing soon!

If your ever in the area Lone Star Antique Mall is a great place to have lunch and do some treasure hunting. Here's their address 5605 N. Denton Hwy. Fort Worth, Texas. 76148 They have 200 dealers in a 48,000 SQ. FT. building. I know I'm running really late, but I'm going to link up with Debra @ http://commonground-debrasvintagedesigns.blogspot.com/ for Vintage Inspiration Friday, so be sure to go and visit her and all the other participants for more inspiration! Hope you enjoyed and wishing you a wonderful weekend.

Love Felicia Blair's booth and...Denis of Ruby Grace and...Tiina of Dream in Cream. So glad you got to go, isn't that an awesome place. I've been wanting to go back. I just might have to plan a road trip soon. Happy Mother's Day.

I went yesterday and got one of the windows probably from the same person you posted the window, mine has a big black cross with a little stone in middle, love. it I also found a godey jewelry box and a cool antique box from bountiful to put some of my mothers pictures in. It really looked fresh with alot of new dealers and I gravitated to all the same booths you did!! Have a wonderful mothers day!

Daphne, Lonestar antique mall happened to be my favorite mall in Forth Worth. The booths that you mention happened to be my fav dealers too. I heard Tiina's Dream in cream is no longer there. I know this much, we could never be shopping partners, we just love the same things. As a treat to my mom and her friends we go dine at the tea room and spend good 4 hours shopping just there. I'm glad you take time to enjoy the simple pleasures. Blessings, Marta.

Hey Lori, we would have loved to have met up with you there, I didn't know that you lived so close. We did go to a few other store's, but I don't remember the name of them, they were some that i hadn't been to before.... I did love the Lone Star Antique Mall though, it was a lot of fun, we should all meet there sometime and have lunch and shop!

Wowzers!!!! I have been missing some GREAT STUFF HERE... looks like you been busy with the look of your blog. I love it!!! I really do...!! Also, wish I would have been with you on this "ladies day out". So sad we live far from each other. Well, Texas is closer then Cali. So, I am close by you... just not close enough. I love all your "eye candy" here... Fabulous and such a Beautiful fun Day you had.

I hope you have a Blessed Day and Happy Mother's Day to you Daphne. You are a Super Lady!! Blessed to know you. Hugs, Nene

Hey Daphne.....great pics and it is an awesome antique mall! In fact, that is where Deidra and I started our Girls Gone Junkin business! We were at one time right across from Felicia...she is awesome, and the tea room is so yummy! Like Lori, I am only about 6 miles East of the mall! Next time, we will have to "hook" up for lunch!
Happy Mothers Day! Cathy aka GGJ

Daphne ... all I can think of is ... BEAUTIFUL! A girl can never have too much of a good thing, can she not?? :) For even these frothy images are a feasting of candy for the eyes!
I just love strolling through shops like this ... a soul could just get lost for a short while amongst such loveliness!
