Beautiful old shutters

I picked up a Romantic Country magazine today, and I just wanted to share this gorgeous picture, and I also wanted to try out my new scanner. I love decorating, and sharing decorating ideals, so I think that the scanner will come in very handy!!! I just love the old shutters in this room, I think it just makes the room. My eyes went straight to them. This room has lots of pretty eye candy, from the rose paintings to the lovely chandelier, but another favorite of mine is the gorgeous table cloth! What's your favorite thing!
I'll be heading to Canton in the morning to help set up Laurie Anna's booth's in the Arbors, or you coming out this weekend, if the weather stays like it has been for the last several day, it should be a great weekend. Hope to see ya there!!!

I just love the color of pink mixed with gold, and the picture of the lady on the top added a extra special bonus to this sweet little jewelry box!
Love the needlepoint with all it's pinks on this pillow!
Lovely pink vintage cameo neckless! Well that's all the pinks for this Pink Saturday. Please go by and visit our gracious hostess Beverly from How Sweet the Sound, and all the other participants!!! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

Vintage cookie Jar & Estate Sale Finds

I was so excited to see our cookie jar in Romantic Home Magazine in the last issue! This cookie jar belonged to my husbands grandmother, and it was left to him when she passed away. I can't believe it's in such perfect condition after all these years! It holds special memories for my husband, he remembers as a child it was always full of cookies, and of course he always had his hand in the cookie jar, along with all the other grandchildren. From all the things that were left this is what he wanted because it was so special to him!
I think it is sooooo cute!

This is a lovely little silver set that I found at an estate sale recently! All of the pictures that I'm showing came from 2 different estate sales.

I just had to have this, and only because of it being pink! I just love pink!!!

adorable little ironstone platter!
Now here is another pink find. I think this is from the 50's or 60's! I got so excited when I seen this little pink treasure sitting there.
I was really excited to find 2 of these clocks, I like the green too, but the pink is my favorite!

I actually found these wood pieces at an Antique store! They have hangers on the back.
Lovely little vase marked USA on the bottom!
I'm not into the kitchen things that much, but if I find some with the red or green handle's I usually tried to get them, I know that a lot of people do collect them!
Does anyone know what this is, I had no ideal. The lady that was working the sale told me what she thought it might be, but I was wanting to know what you think it is. I don't know if it's old or a new piece either!

Pink Saturday

I'm so glad to be participating in Pink Saturday again with Beverly at http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog . I've been out for several weeks, just too much going on, and then having computer problems. I think we have the computer problems behind us for now anyway!

I just purchased these vintage candle holders this past week in an Antique Mall. I'm not sure yet if I'm keeping them or if I will add them to my online Boutique. More than likely I will let them go due to the fact that I really don't have any more extra room for anything!

I just love this gorgeous rosette, and the tray above. These were sent to me during a recent rosette swap that was going on. Robin from Lipstick Gypsy made this beautiful rosette for me, she is sooooo talented. If you want to see the rest of the yummy things she sent me just scroll on down to the bottom of the page!

I purchased this little, what appears to be a book, but it is actually a little box from Laurie Anna's in Canton. I just love the muted colors that it has!
This is one of my small shoulder bags that I just recently added to my online boutique. daphnenicole.com Hope you enjoyed. Be sure and go visit Beverly at How Sweet the Sound , and all the other participants. I would also like to share a gorgeous blog to visithttp://luluslovlies.blogspot.com/ , she is also having a wonderful giveaway. So be sure and check it all out. We will also be having some giveaways soon. We just reached 200 followers (Yea), so we have to celebrate, and what better way than to have a giveaway. So check back with us soon!

Lots of new items added to our on line boutique

Well finally I'm able to do a new post and hopefully leave comments on other blogs. My computer has been down since my last post. The computer guy wasn't going to be able to come until next week, but he told my husband something he could do that might fix it, and my husband was so ready to get it fixed, I think he's tired of seeing me pouting. (he he) It does seem to be fixed, it did however remove some of the blog design that Karen had done for us, I'll have to check into that! Here are some new things we have added to our online boutique! www.daphnenicole.com

This purse has it all, layers of short and long, looped ribbon and long lace! You would be sure to get attention with this beauty on your shoulder!

I just love the crown piece on the flap of this purse!

My favorite color is pink, but I do love the rich colors in this purse!
This is one of my favorite, I just love mixing turquoise, pinks & browns together!
This is one of our western pillows, I love mixing the beautiful cowhide with the vintage fabrics and the beaded trim.

We have added a few of these new jewelry pieces to our on line boutique.
I just love little shabby chic shelves, and this one has just the right amount of rust too!

We finally have our furniture page up now, we will be added more to it soon! All of our furniture is for pick up only!
This little table would work great indoors or outdoors on a patio!
Dress forms not included!
Adorable little curio cabinet! We will be adding more pages to our website soon! www.daphnenicole.com

More pictures of Laurie Anna's

Yea, finally I'm able to make a post, and hopefully leave comments on other blogs. My computer has been so messed up lately, so I haven't been able to do a post or leave comments on anyone's blog, and also thank those of you who have joined us as followers recently! I was actually going to have someone come and see if they could fix it tomorrow, hopefully it will keep on working and I won't have to do that, but the way it's been doing, this probably won't last long! Anyway I really didn't have a post ready, since I thought it was a long shot that my computer would work, but since it did I thought I would go ahead and post the rest of the gorgeous pictures I had taken of Laurie Anna's store!
I just love these vintage bird houses, I've never seen any quite like them before!
Just look at this wonderful vintage sink! I've never seen one like this either! I don't know where Laurie found these two wonderful treasures, but there very cool items.

Wonderful clock, I have a thing for clocks I just love them, and have a small collection of them at home. Look at that wonderful flowers that Tiny made, thier sooooo pretty!

Now this is a very unusual piece, and it makes a great display for her dishes! Does anyone know what this piece is, I ask one of the girls and no one knew!
This was another one of my favorite displays. I just love the way they hung the pitchers, it displays them beautifully!

Well that's all for now, hope you enjoyed the tour! While I was working at Laurie Anna's I did manage to buy a few things, and I will be showing my treasures soon! And yes I do work for home decor!!! Now hopefully I can go and catch up on my comments on everyones blogs, it's been torture not being able to comment or post, I'm really addicted!!!
