Happy New Year!

The clock is ticking to the final countdown to 2011. I'm looking forward to the new year with all of it's new possibilities! Wishing each and everyone a Happy & Blessed New Year. May all of your dreams come true!!! I thought I would end this year by sharing some of our family Christmas gatherings!

My son & daughter n law!
My niece Avery and my granddaughter, this was Avery's first time to see the baby. Avery is our family star... she won the Miss Rodeo Texas Teen, Miss Rodeo Texas, & competed in the Miss Rodeo USA, she came in 10th place at this competition... she has accomplished many other achievements, and we are very proud of her!
This is my stepdaughter!
This is my stepdaughter with our granddaughter Amberly, this is also her first time to get to see the baby, as she is away at college most of the time!
This was some of the family playing the game gestures... as for me I just watched and took pictures, I don't mind playing games but this one you had to get up in front of everyone and act out was was on your card, I'm just a little to shy for that!
My daughter n law with Amberly opening her gifts!
I just had to take a picture of my mother n laws Dinning room, she covered her wall in this beautiful fabric years ago, and she's fixing to take it all down and put wall paper up! I couldn't believe she's taken it down, but I guess after years of it being up she's ready for a change!
So many yummy things to eat!

I took this picture simply because I've always loved this cupboard in her Dinning room!
That's my mother in the background, my niece and stepdaughter! Well I'll be talking to ya in 2011..... HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

White Wednesday & Vintage Inspiration Friday!

It's time for another White Wednesday and Vintage Inspiration Friday, and I thought I would share some of my lady statue's & vintage pictures with you! This is a short post today as I am keeping my little granddaughter and she requires all of my attention!

Most of these need to be framed! I've had them tucked away for years... I've just never taken the time to frame them!

Maybe the new year coming up will be the year that I frame these beauties and actually get to enjoy them! I have many more tucked away that needs to be framed too! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas, we certainly did, but I'm glad that things are back to normal for a while! Merry Christmas

Wishing everyone a wonderful and blessed Christmas!

And a Happy New Year!

We'll be going to church tonight to see our yearly Christmas program and sing Christmas songs! I'm really excited this year because our little granddaughter will be in the program, she's going to be the baby in the manger! I've been telling everyone she's only 8 mos old and she's going to be in a play, already a star, especially in my eyes!!! Blessings to everyone!

White Wednesday & Vintage Inspiration Friday!

I thought I would share a few things around the house today! I didn't do as much decorating this year as I normally do... just didn't have the time or energy! We've already had 2 Christmas's and have 2 more to go, plus we go to church on Christmas Eve night and the kids have their Christmas program, and we sing Christmas songs... I always look forward to that! This is a very special year for us as we have a new granddaughter, I know she's to young to understand what's going on, but I can't wait to see her tearing the paper from her packages! Hope you enjoy the little tour!

I have antique neckless's on these little trees, I usually but vintage earrings on them too, I just haven't gotten that far yet!

After I took this picture I my little deer fell and broke an ear off and his tail.... but I'll try to patch him up!

One of my dearest friends gave me this sweet little picture... I'll cherish it always!!!

As you can tell I love to collect cherubs... I have them everywhere! Well I hope you enjoyed my little tour! Hope everyone is having a wonderful Christmas season... it's almost here!!! Please stop by and visit Kathleen http://fadedcharmcottage.blogspot.com/ and all the other participants! Tomorrow I will be linking up with Debra http://commonground-debrasvintagedesigns.blogspot.com/

The Girl Next Door

I wanted to share a dear friend of mines booth... Jamie from The Girl Next Door, she has it all from Shabby Chic furniture, vintage collectible, jewelry & vintage clothing! Her booth is in Waco Tx. at "THE SHOPS" so if your ever in the area be sure to stop by! The Shops have many different vendors, they sale a mixture of new and vintage items... anything from beautiful clothes, baby items, jewelry, antiques & collectibles, shabby chic and more. They also have a great place to eat in while you shop, plus several other eating places within walking distance from the store!

The lighting was really bad the day I was trying to take pictures, so my pictures really don't do justice to her booth! Wish I was better with the camera!
I just love the purple painted wall.

This farm table was the most gorgeous farm table I've ever seen. Again my picture doesn't do it justice!

Hope you enjoyed the tour! If you ever in the area be sure to stop by, a lot of the time Jamie will be there working in her booth and always bring in more gorgeous things! Hope everyone has a wonderful week as were getting closer to Christmas... we had 2 Christmas's this past weekend, and had a great time!
