A Porch Club Bake Off

I'm joining up with Jill http://gypsyfleamarket.blogspot.com/ today, and I'm running really late to the party! Were suppose to share some of our recipes today.... well I'm not much of a baker, but thought it would be a lot of fun to join in anyway! First off I wanted to share a few things that reminds me of Valentines. Everyone that follows my blog at all, knows that I just adore cherubs, one of my favorite things to collect! This pair here is new to my collection, just found them this past weekend at the new Antique store that opened in our little town!

My favorite heart box! Another thing I collect is beautiful ladies!!!
I have a small collection of these wedding couples!
Now this is one of my favorite desserts and so easy to make:
It's called a dump cake
1 can apple pie filling (you can substitute for any pie filling) I like cherry
1 can blueberry pie filling
1 Tsp. cinnamon
1 stick butter, melted~~~ I use 2 sticks of butter in mine
1 pkg. pudding cake mix (yellow)
1 cup chopped pecans

Empty the apple pie filling in oblong baking dish. Spread blueberry pie filling over the apple pie filling. Sprinkle pudding cake mix over the ingredients, melt butter and pour evenly over the pudding cake mix. Top with chopped pecans and bake about 30 min. at 350 degrees

This is just a store bought cake mix, that I fixed for the grand kids for Valentines!
Of course I had to fix two, so I could have a little too!!!
I got this picture of these gorgeous cookies and recipes for them from Romantic Home mag. Just click to enlarge!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Valentines Day! Hope you will join Jill http://gypsyfleamarket.blogspot.com/ and all of the other participants at the Porch Club Bake off for lots of baked goodies!!! I will have my post linked to Jill shortly! I have to go to town to our business and link from a different computer, mine won't link to anything.
The last 2 pictures where from Victoria mag.

You have beautiful collections and pictures.. I felt all cuddly because my Mom also collects antique cherubs! I must say, they dont all look like angers should lol but to her theyre amazing... its sweet to collect things like that... I myself collect birds, matches, from the earliest till now (laugh) and old photographies in frames... so no one knows the wall colours because you cant see them! :)

Your valentine table is amazing, it brings me back to old times.. beautifully done!
