Vintage Christmas Inpiration Friday - More pictures from Winnie & Tululas Christmas Open House!

Are you ready for some Christmas Inpiration, we have lots more pictures of our Christmas Open House at Winnie & Tululas! I won't do much talking, as I have so many pictures to show you! Hope you enjoy!

Yes, we even have a doggy booth at our mall.

I just love this little tree with the vintage clock facings!

What a great silver piece!
This Santa and the next few pictures are a few items we have added to our Christmas decor on our website, and will be added more things soon... I started on my Christmas things a little to late this year, I'm quite behind. www.daphnenicole.com

The next few pictures I'm showing are not as pretty as the one's you've been looking at. but it's something near and dear to my heart. I feel I have a calling to help in the rescue of animals, I have a deep, deep love of animals, as I'm sure many of you do to. There are so many that people are just dumping out like their a piece of trash and it truly breaks my heart! For a long time I felt so over whelmed at the amount that was being abused I really didn't think I could make a difference, but I've come to understand that if I can save even a few, that's a wonderful thing! Because every life matters! It would be so great if we all could give back, and give to someone in need, to a favorite charity, our local animal shelter are what ever GOD lays on our hearts to do! I will have more to share with you about my animals in the future!

This sweet little baby is one of the two that I managed to grab and take to a no kill shelter! I had been feeding him and his mother, brothers and sisters for several months, trying to gain their trust so I could get close enough to grab them and take to the shelter, He is now having all of his medical problems taking care of, able to have his meals every day and most of all being loved! I can't wait to show the pictures of him a little later after he's had the much needed attention that he deserves!

This is his mother, I'm going to have a harder time catching her, she comes up pretty close to me, but I don't think she going to go with me without a fight.... and now she has had another little of puppy's , not sure how many, it will be a long drawn out deal with this one! Hope you enjoyed the Christmas pictures, be sure to go over to Debra's @ Common Ground, and visit her, and all the other participants!

What what fun that must have been. LOTS of great treasures!!!And YOU have a gigantic heart to take care of those pups and their mom:) Lots of my pets are adopted. It is really so sad that more people don't spay and nueter. Sometimes I wish I could take a course just to do that and do it for free.

Hi Debra, what a sweetheart you are, I don't understand why people don't get their pets spayed and nuetered too, their is places to take them that are very affordable, and I think sometime even free, so there's no excuse!

Oh Daphne, you are a saint!... I love that you rescue animals!... I have done that my entire life too... I always do a "Christmas for the Animals" donation thing as well as helping however I can throughout the year...I am a NICE lady, but if I EVER got my hands on people who abuse animals, I would become their worse nightmare!!!... you, sweet lady, have touched my heart with this post... "all God's creatures" need our help... xoxo Julie Marie

Oh Julie, I'm crying like a baby reading your post, I'm definitely no saint, but it does make my heart very heavy seeing these animals that GOD has so blessed us with dumped out to starve to death or become prey for other wild animals, and these animals are totally dependent upon us to take care of them! I think what you do is so great... "Christmas for the Animals" wonderful ideal. I'm with you too about getting my hands on some of these people who abuse them, there needs to be some stiff penalties for such people! Thanks so much for you sweet words!
Love you~~~ Daphne

Saying prayers you can get mom and the pups. She needs to be spayed and rehabilitated. Poor thing. I've rescued animals my entire life. Our bassets have all been rescues. The more broken the better. I wish everyone that could afford to do so would remember to donate to their local shelters this time of year. We just did and also to our local breed rescue (and homeless shelter). That said, I loved these pics. So beautiful. That first pic is the wreath you bought, right? I love that.

Before I go on and on about the beauty of the photos, I want to say that you are my new hero!
I love dogs and it breaks my heart to see them running loose and needy. So often it is a mother dog and her babies. Breaks my heart. I have tried to catch a few in vain. Thanks.
Now, if you got my name for Christmas, I would like all of that white bedding, and the white tree with silver ornaments in the silver champagne bucket! My address is.....

Good for you Rhonda, for a least trying to catch them. This mother dog already had pups that was one of them that i managed to catch, and take to the shelter, now she's had more, I so hope I can get her caught before there is more puppies! The lady that runs the shelter, just took in a mother dog and 9 puppies that someone dumped in a field near their home, it's just heartbreaking!
Love ya~~~ Daphne

I had to smile at your little rescued pup. So sweet. Looks like he may have mange. Poor baby. We are big rescuers also. My daughter especially has rescued and placed many many animals. I, at one time, had eight cats and three dogs. All rescues. There aren't many people I can tell about that. They tend to think I'm a little nuts! :) But we do what we can, huh?

Daphne Nicole & Lynda Cade said...

Denise, thanks so much for stopping by, I'm so glad to hear that ya'll are rescuers of these sweet babies too... and good for your daughter for what she does!!! I sure don't know why people would think your nuts, I think your more like an angel!

It's heartbreaking seeing all the animals out there that need our help. You're doing a really purposeful thing here. Hope she warms up to you soon.
Thanks for linking up, Daphne, have a wonderful week!
