I ran across these sweet little story books recently, that I had purchased and tucked away several years ago... I really didn't have any reason to keep them at the time, but anyone who knows me know's that I have a hard time letting go of a lot of the things that I buy... most of which ends up in my storage warehouse! This is a problem for me and something that I will be trying very hard to work on this year! I would like to empty a lot of the things from my storage and be free of it all.
I thought these were the cuties little story book, and their in great shape... they have really been taken very good care of!
I read this sweet little book to my granddaughter... although she didn't seem to be very interested in it! She only 8 mos. old though, but I was told you should start reading to them very early, so maybe she got something out of it anyway!
This will be the next book I read to her!
This is my granddaughter Amberly with our little dog Harvey, she really loves to play with him... and he loves playing with her! This little dog is one that we rescued several years ago, and he's never liked being around anyone but my husband and myself, until Amberly came along, he's so afraid of everyone, but he's never for one minuted been afraid of her, she can pull his tail, and do whatever to him and he still loves her and is not afraid of her, maybe he just senses her innocence!
This is her playing with a plastic bowl... she has so many toys, but they were just not satisfying her, so I gave this to her to play with, needless to say this didn't satisfy her very long either, I'm afraid she's a bit spoiled... but so cute!
Is This the Real Life? Is This Just Fantasy?

Amberly is beautiful! Keep reading to her, although if you read the doggie book, you should probably bark every now and then to make it even more interesting, don't ya think? Give your pup a hug...he's a cutie! ~ Angela
Hey Angela, that sounds like a good ideal, it might get her attention a little more!

G'day Angela ~ Amberly is adorable! What cute captures of her with Harvey.
I so remember these books. I started reading to the children at 4 weeks, holding them in my lap & showing them the pages ... same with the kid-lings ... they all are great readers now. I remember a pediatrician (I say that loosely) was really upset with me for doing reading so early & barked 'are you trying to create a genius' ... I replied, 'no, just opening the doorway to the world'. The jerk!

Your granddaughter is adorable! I love the books too. The images are just so sweet. I would have bought them too!
Hello Daphne... those little books are just precious!... and so is your little granddaughter and your puppy... I think it's great you read to her already, I just know she loves hearing your voice and I am sure she understands every word... little ones pay more attention than people think sometimes... xoxo Julie Marie
Your granddaughter is as cute as can be.
The graphics on the little books reminds me of another time, love that, Char
She is such a cutie and Harvey is a good boy. Maybe you can call Chipper Harvey when you read her the story. My grands love it when I replace a characters name with someone they know. Have a wonderful day.
I adore children's picture books!! I have many!
