Beautiful White Rooms & White Wednesday

It's time for White Wednesday again, and I have some beautiful white rooms to show you today... are at least they are to me.... I know I'm drooling over them!!! Hope you will be too!!!

This is one of my favorite pictures... When we had our home built about 13 years ago, we wanted all white walls, well for a while now I've wanted to paint everything a soft gold... so glad I only had the Dinning room painted a soft gold, next I wanted everything painted a creamy off white "you know the wonderful color I'm talking about" well now the more I look at pictures like these where everything is stark WHITE ... and all the furniture is white I'm really going towards that look now! I did have the wall going upstairs painted creams with a touch of gold and tans and I love it, and will never change it!
I do have a lot of creamy white furniture, so I want have to do a lot of furniture buying!
Love the wonderful French settee and the rug!!!

This is the color of all the walls in our home, and oh how I'm liking the white on white... I love the white statue against my white walls!
Now here's the wonderful creamy whites, which one day I will probably have my walls painted this color... but for now since my walls are already a stark white I will just leave them a while longer, and try to furnish with mostly whites,
Another gorgeous room with the creams and whites mixed!
This is our stairway wall.... I LOVE the way the paint job turned out on this.... and will never change it! I know my taste changes all the time, but I just know that I will never tire of creamy whites, stark whites, and the color of my stairway wall! I wish my picture was better, the paint job on this wall looks like it was painted over a 100 years ago.... and that's the look I was going for! Hope you enjoyed my white shares for this week!!! Be sure to go over and visit with our gracious hostess Katleen http://fadedcharmcottage.blogspot.com/ and all the other participants!

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh... those White rooms are magnificent! Though I adore the all shades of White look and gravitate to it on paper... in real life it just would not work for me. #1 Men in the house #2 Kids in the house #3 Pets in the house #4 I love color so much that slowly it would start creeping back in #5 Live in a dusty Desert environment #6 Laid back Housekeeper, it seems like it would be a LOT of work to try to keep it that way and all the dirt would show and be SO depressing! *wink* I don't know how the folks who pull off the all White look keep their Homes looking so sparkling and pure White all the time?!?

But I can live vicariously thru those who do manage to create such a beautiful serene White environment! *LOL*

White rooms are so dreamy. I think that I have always been a little ahead of my time. I have always wanted a white room before white had become chic!
I love your stairway wall. It reminds me of a lovely chateau with marble walls.

Those rooms are just soooooo dreamy!! I'm wanting to take down the wallpaper in our main bathroom and paint the walls either an off-white or a creamy white, as the wainscotting is more of a stark white ~ it should be a FUN job, right, lol :) Thanks for sharing these beautiful photos with us, and your staircase wall is lovely :)

Warmest hugs, Brenda

Yummy pictures! I love the mix of several shades of creams and whites. That first photo is just breathtaking - now I wonder if I need to paint my bedcrown a creamy white...are we ever satisfied???
Love your stair wall. They did a great job. That's what I spent 15 years doing professionally. Decided I better hang up my ladder and stay off 20' scaffolding while I was still ahead.

Beautiful! I am inches away from grabbing a paintbrush and getting started on 3 rooms in the house that need to be done. funny thing is my hubby is the one to suggest painting them white! I can't wait to get started, but first I need to get a few projects finished that I am in the middle of. Thanks for the inspiration, Theresa xoxo

Hi Daphne, I enjoyed your post. The only white walls I have is my living room is an off white and that is the only room that has been left that way. My kitchen dining room is a bright yellow. Bright enough at night you wonder if you left a light on. Some day I will have some of the things like I want, but for the present time I will leave a lone to make my other half happy. Have a great day. Your Missouri Friend.

Daphne,
I love the photos you chose today, so amazing...all of them. The one with the bed & those lace panels dropped over it. OH MY!!!! And that settee, I've been looking for one for over a year now. Finding one under 500. is hard. I've had creamy walls for a few years now & just recently I redid our bedroom & painted the walls a tan color to highlight all my whites. I really love the look, although looking at your inspiration leaves me second guessing. I guess we can't go wrong tho as long as it's what we love!

PS Will you be in Canton Thur? Lori & I are coming.

You were right about the pictures they are fabulous! I had to laugh when you mentioned about wanting to change your wall colors often. That is so like the rest of us. The Europeans have such talent for white on white and that is where we're leaning. My husband just doesn't know it yet.
Love your purses!

I love all the photos and I have never been able to have that much discipline ever! I also live in a home full of guys and I am out voted all the time on things.
Our home is 16 years old and we went 14 with all white walls, but I could never just buy white things. I love all colors! Except orange. Hahaha.
I love your stair wall. I don't think I would ever change that out.
Good luck on your tranformation into the creamy whites.
Hugs- Tete
