Back to Creating!

Well finally I'm going to my studio today, I took the whole month of December off, I haven't created anything in over a month! I would be more excited, but my studio is in quite a mess... it will take me the rest of the week to get everything in it's place before I can even begin to work on my purses and pillows.... but I just can't hardly wait to get started on them!

These pictures were taken last year, it certainly doesn't look like this now, I'm quite the mess cat... I have fabric everywhere! When I go to sales I bring my boxes of treasures in and set them all over the place!

I would have showed before pictures of what it looks like now after hurricane Daphne has blown thru, but I was to embarrassed to show my mess! I have to get organized I spend the majority of my time looking for things that I need... that's one of my New Years resolutions, organization!!!

Oh how I wish it was still this neat and orderly, so I could begin my creating today! I did my post early today, since I will be away from the computer for a while, but I will be linking up to Kathleen http://fadedcharmcottage.blogspot.com/ later today! Well I'm off to work... what are you doing today!!! If you haven't entered our giveaway, just scroll down to the next post to enter!!!

What a beautiful studio! Do you by chance have your purses in Grapevine Texas Stores? Just curious as I was in a western store and saw an item that looks totally your style and it was handmade but at the time I did not catch the name of the artist.

It's a fabulous dreamworld! I so love fabrics: lace, brocade, damask, velvet, suede, leather, fur, and more and more and more. And it looks like you have it all. If you need help, maybe I should come over.

I know exactly how you feel, I haven't done anything since at least a month ago... my home studio I haven't touched since I closed the shop. It is past repair and needs a complete overhaul, which I plan on doing in the spring... I cannot work when it is a mess either. Good luck

I think we may have been separated at birth. I have an organization defect too.
When I was gone for three days last week, my daughter organized my sewing mess in the laundry room! It looks so good.
I wish I could visit your studio in person. Enlarging and drooling isn't even close to touching all of that wonderful lace and fabric.
Lovely things.

Your space is gorgeous and i wish you the best in your reorganizing.
I just finished organizing my studio and just opened the last suitcase brought home from my buying trip in October, so I know what you mean.

You always have the best White displays... and then the best colorful creations... so, the best of both worlds! So... I'm apparently not the only one whose New Year project is to get house and studio in order! Thank goodness I don't shoot with a wide angle lens so I can edit the mess! *wink* Whew, I no longer feel like the Lone Ranger... I'm in good company! *wink*

Very nice studio. I need a studio so bad. Every room in my house is used for production. Do you rent a space? Or an addition to your house? Just curious, I am trying to find something. Thanks for the inspiration!!
