Missing my Booth!

Thought I would share a few pictures from a previous booth I had. This booth was at Spice in Waco, Tx. I moved out of it for several years ago , but I really miss not having a booth, I especially love the decorating part of it!

When I had this booth I also had 3 other booths all in seperate directions, I did end up giving this one up, so now I had 3 places, opened my online store.... still to much , so I ended up giving up all of 3 booths. My online store www.daphnenicole.com , and selling at Laurie Anna's every month keeps me really busy, so don't think I will be getting a booth anytime soon!
Did I mention I was also setting up at Canton every month..... what was I thinking!!!
It's hard sometimes trying to get everything balanced out. I thought I could do it all, but learned that I can't do everything, ( it was wearing me out.) I love having my own on line boutique and love selling at Laurie's beautiful store! I think I'm doing exactly what I'm supposed to be doing now!

On to something a little different the picture above and the one's below where taken at Savannah Georgia on our vacation back in April. I saw some really beautiful homes there, but this one was my favorite of all.

I just love the gold trim around all of the windows, it's absolutely gorgeous!!!
This was a store that we passed by, it has the most beautiful architectural elements. I was drooling by this point! I took lots of pictures while we were there, beautiful homes, stores, and churches were around every corner! Hope you enjoyed my rambling's for today!!!

Hi Daphne!
I love your booths from the past. I can just imagine all the beautiful things that you create that were available for sale. I know what you mean about trying to run booths, an etsy shop and do special sales.....sometimes we just have to slow down.
I agree that you are doing what you are supposed to be doing and that's what matters most.
I have two booths right now and tried having an etsy. I gave up the etsy shop and I work like crazy taking care of both of them.

Someday I'll be donw to one, which might be soon.

hugs
Sissie

Hello, Daphne
I understand your comment about how much work a booth can be. I have one in Denison and it is a 24/7 effort. And working in this heat is killing me. When will it ever end. Come visit me at Shabby Friends.

Lovin' that purple and green in your old booth! I think your decision to focus on your online store and Laurie Anna's was a smart one. Burned out is not a good place to be.

That house is fabulous - love the windows!

I just know that I would love Savannah... your photos are gorgeous. I love that home too. I also love that you feel like you are doing exactly what you are supposed to be doing... there is so much satisfaction in that! Happy Monday to you. xo

This makes me smile, after all the years of telling you that you were stretching yourself to thin and you needed to simplify. MmmHmm.

Just remember, he who chases two rabbits at the same time, catches neither. :-)) Way to focus girl!

Hey Laurie, I do remember talking to you about this very subject.... and you told me that I needed to focus on doing 1 or 2 things and doing them well instead of trying to do it all, and not getting anywhere except running myself ragged. Great advice and I thank you sweet friend!
Hugs~~~ Daphne

Daphne, like you, I too enjoyed doing it all and learned it took way too much out of me. Having a booth was so much fun. I too loved rearranging my items and bringing in new finds. However, it can end up being so very time-consuming. Especially when one has to drive forty-five minutes each way just to get to said shop.

You are so very talented ... I believe our journeys in life do ultimately take us to out true path. Once we are there, we truly do thrive, do we not?

Hi, I was just talking with a friend about missing my old booth and yes, I so enjoyed decorating it, too.

Just discovered your blog...come over and say hi when you get a chance.

Following you,
Barb

Your booth was gorgeous (and fun to decorate I'm sure). But more important is your bliss. When it becomes a chore, we have to let go.
Glad you are happy!
