A great giveaway and a new store to check out!

If you haven't checked out Debra's giveaway @ http://commonground-debrasvintagedesigns.blogspot.com/ be sure to go over and check it out! Debra is having a Romantic French Style Giveaway to celebrate Vintage Inspiration Friday's one year anniversary!!! You don't want to miss it, it's fabulous!!!

I love the name of this store...... JUNQUE In The Trunk
I wanted to share this new store in Waco, Tx. well it's new to me, they have actually been open since Feb. How did I not know about this, it being only about a 30 min. drive for me.

This is Emily one of the owners. I had the pleasure of visiting with her a little bit while I was there. Emily told me that she has a partner and her name is Lacy, they both have full time jobs and are only open on Sat 10-5 and Sun 12-5. They are located at 2225 La Salle - Waco, Tx. so if your ever in the area be sure to check it out, they have lots of great treasures!!!

Don'tcha just love finding a new store that carries lots of wonderful things like that?!
My favorites all seem to be dissapearing and nothing new is taking their place.*sighs* This economy has been really hard on my local antique and junque stores.
Soooo did you find a treasure or two to bring home? Vanna

Ivroftiques, I do love finding new stores with great antiques and collectibles in them. I know what you mean about a lot of the favorite places dissapearing, it's really sad. Did I bring a treasure or two to bring home.... of course I did!!! So glad you stopped by and hope you have a wonderful week!!!

Hi Daphne,
It looks like a great shop. I hope they do really well. It's a lot of work for girls who already work full time, but if they love it, it will work out great for them. I think we need lots of stores like this in Idaho. My daughter owned an awesome little store in Boise called The Painted Chair, but found that it was too much for her to do with a little baby and a husband in school full time so she closed, but it was fun while it lasted.
