Laurie Annas Vintage Home

I'm just now getting around to showing pictures from this past month at Laurie Anna's Vintage Home, http:http://laurieannas.blogspot.com/ during the Canton trade days. Her shop is always over the top beautiful with the most divine home decor... from true vintage pieces to vintage inspired pieces! I worked at Laurie's last month and stayed with her and her family at their 5th place cottage, if you haven't seen the cottage you have to check out her blog, she has a button to click on close to the top of her page that will take you to 5th place cottage.
Be sure to check out my new facebook page, I'm really excited about it, I want to say a BIG THANK YOU to Laurie, she set the whole thing up for me. I'm not very computer savy, but this girl now' s just about everything there is to know about computers. I'm very impressed with her computer skill.... not to mention I know how busy she is all the time, but she was so sweet to take the time to set this up for me. She is a precious friend!!!

This is one of my favorite pieces in the store!
The burlap pillows are some that I took to Laurie's and was so excited about how many of them sold! Yea!!!
I took a few purses as well.

I just love those windows.... their gorgeous!

Always the cuties displays...... Hope to see ya next month at Laurie Anna's Vintage Home! Don't forget to check out my new facebook page!

I'm so glad you took the time to post these photos Daphne...otherwise I wouldn't have known what I missed while I was otherwise occupied! Darn it that Warrenton and Canton have to fall so close to one another.
Your designs are just lovely and I'm off to check out your facebook page.

I'm so sorry I'm writing this on this post instead of your last-but I read this post and thought I'd catch up on some of the past posts and saw the posts about the dog. I am mortified too. Being an animal rescuer and lover-my heart goes out to you. You did everything in your power to help her. I don't understand why it turned out that way either-it was all in God's hands for sure. I'm confused and sad for everyone involved. I will pray for everyone's healing on this-but I know it will stay with me forever too. God Bless you for all your doing~!!!!

OMG Daphne... since I'm in Burlap & Feedsack Pillow Mode *winks* your Burlap & Lace Pillows sent me into a major swoon! Now I wonder if that Pillow I just bought might be one of yours? Shelly always scours the Countryside looking for fab Artists & creations in her travels to bring Home to her Shop so it just might be??? I also love how you've incorporated Burlap & Lace and the old fashioned Ticking with Belgian Velvet in your Bag designs. How is the Burlap to work with in bag design? I've got tons of Vintage Burlap that an old Farmer gave The Man years ago but it seems rather stiff right now to make some bags & pillows out of so I'm planning on soaking it all in gallons of fabric softeners and see how that works before I start working it. *winks* I love the Organic mixed with the Decadent, though both ends of the spectrum all beautiful things just have a way of going together and complimenting each other nicely I believe.

Thanks again for stopping by with your sweet words... Dawn... The Bohemian

Goodness! What a magnificent shop! Candy for the eyes and therapy for the soul! Your luscious pillows and fairy-tail bags meld perfectly with the other worldly goods. I found the old sleigh overflowing with fluffy white pillows most charming. The place is beautifully and artfully arranged ... a bit of a confection store for grownups :) I would never bring home a paycheck if I worked there! ;O
