I love finding these sweet little dolls at estate sales and actions!
I made the braclet in this picture from vintage beads!
I just found this pair of shoes yesterday when my friend Laurie and I went to Ft Worth to the Lone Star Antique Mall. I purchases these shoes from the sweetest lady, her name is Felicia from Bountiful.... if your ever close by be sure to go by thay have a wondeful Mall. I will be posting about our trip a little later!
These are some of the wedding dresses that I have collected over the years..... wished my pictures were better, these pictures don't do them justice.
This is the back of the dress, some of the backs are more beautiful than the fronts are!
This is a small bag that I designed just so I would have it to take to weddings and such.... and I will get to use it next month as my niece will be getting married.
I just love the details!!!
The rest of the picture were from a booth in the Lone Star Antique Mall, belonging to a sweet lady named Mary and her booth #10 if your ever there check out her charming booth!
Hope you enjoyed the wedding collection tour! Be sure to go by and visit with Stephanie http://angelicaccents.blogspot.com/, Beverly at http://www.howsweetthesound.typepad.com/, Debra at http://commonground-debrasvintagedesigns.blogspot.com/ and all of the other participants to see more about weddings, vintage, and pinks!!! Oh my! Such beautiful pictures! I didn't realize how much I loved wedding stuff until now. The little vintage dolls and the handbags (I've loved handbags since I was a little girl) were my favs!
Daphne ... these are the most mallowy, confectionable images to date! For they are a bit 'O' heaven! Anything wedding related that sparkles or is dreamily kissed by ethereal softness sends my heart aflutter! I think I shall propose to my hubby this time around just so that I may drench myself in all the gossamer beauty! LOVELY, lovely, post!
Wishing you a weekend seeped in great peace ...
You have a fantastic collection of vintage wedding attire!

Everything is amazing. Love those dresses.

What a wonderful post! I have a small collection of the bride and groom dolls/ cake toppers. The beaded handbags were beautiful as well as the bracelet you created.

Hope to get hold of one of your purses one day. Just waiting for the right one that talks to me. Well that is if you send to Norway.

I love the dress in the last photo! So romantic and it looks very old? I used to collect wedding dresses but I ran out of room to store or display them so I quit. {boohoo} They are so tempting whenever I see them. Thanks so much for visiting with me..it's always great to hear from you.
Pink Sparkles for your week,
Stephanie ♥
Just beautiful, Daphne. I think of everything, the bridal "hat and veil" is my favorite. Your collection is just gorgeous. Thanks so much for sharing it here at VIF! xoxo Debra

Dear Daphne, I'm thrilled that you joined us for the Wedding Blog party fun!! It just wouldn't have been a party without YOU! Now, where to start?!? Girlfriend, you have got a seriously BEAUTIFUL collection of bride dolls and bridal gowns and accessories! I enlarged each and every pic to drink it all in! Love the bracelet you made, the rhinestone jewelry, the beaded bag, and oh my goodness, the lacey bag you made for your niece's wedding next month! Your trio of bridal dolls are adorable! I love all your gowns and you are so right ~ many of them are just as pretty OR prettier than the fronts! I've got to ask if that is an armoire that your gowns are hanging from? Whatever it is is beautiful and I'd love to see more of it. The bridal gown (your 3rd gown pictured) that has a small bow at the top and has covered buttons spaced out down the front ~ is that the front or the back of the gown? So pretty and unique.
Funny that you mention Lone Star Antique Mall ~ that is where I told hubby I want to go to celebrate our 37 yr. wedding anniversary to shop!! Hopefully I'll get there real soon! Looks like they have plenty of items that I adore!!
Thanks so much for joining and sharing with us all! My out of town relatives are gone now, so I'm free to visit and revisit everyone's lovely wedding posts!
Big TX Hugs,
Stephanie
