Today is Rebecca's birthday and she ask that we share a gift that we have made for someone else. These braclets are some that I made for my self many years ago, my friend Amy showed me how to make them! But I also made some for my Aunt and used repurposed jewelry that belonged to her mother, which of course was also my grandmother! My aunt and I grew up together, she's only 6 months older than I am... we were together constantly growing up, you didn't see one without the other! So you can see she's very special to me and she loves jewelry so I thought how nice it would be for her to be able to actually use some of the jewelry that her mother left her! So I took some of the old neckless's of my grandmothers that you don't see many people wearing anymore and made her some really cute braclets with those beads and added some vintage button and sparkles to go with them! Now she get's to use this jewelry and can keep the rest in a safe place!
I don't have a picture of the exact one's that I gave my aunt because I never took pictures of them when I gave them to her... but their real similar to these!
I wanted to say Happy Birthday to Rebecca... and thank you for inviting us to your wonderful Birthday Party... I think it's going to be a lot of fun!!! http://rebeccaforvintageliving.blogspot.com/

Thank you so much for coming to my party and sharing such a lovely gift. The bracelets are beautiful and how special to have made them with something of your grandmothers. I bet your Aunt was so touched and isn't that what giving is all about, the love we share from our heart.
Blessings
Rebecca
So Pretty! Happy Birthday to Rebecca! Warm Blessings!~Amy
Very pretty! What a special thing to do for your Aunt.
Enjoy your weekend.
Those are so pretty and a good use for the vintage jewelry we have. I have my mothers and need to look at them with a different eye. Happy Birthday to Rebecca.
What a heartfelt Gift my Friend... I believe the Gifts made by hands, especially hands of a person we Love, carry with them a part of the Person since their creative Spirit is in each piece. And so they are always among MY most cherished pieces and I'm quite certain your Aunt felt likewise about these bracelets that have such an endearing Story behind them.
Christmas Blessings... Dawn... The Bohemian
