I'm a Barn Chick

Welcome friends today I'm joining up with other bloggers for a Barn Chick party!! I am running quite abit late due to problems with my computer, but thanks to the hubby for getting it fixed for me, and also a big thanks to Karen from Brayton Homestead Interiors for hosting such a fun party!!!

I just love this barn with the blue bonnets painted on it. It must have taken someone a really long time to do this!
Here is some of our spoiled babies! We have names for each one of them.

This is the other side to the blue bonnet barn!

I love this tiny little barn, I pass this barn every month when I'm heading to Canton Trade days, I've always admired it!

This is hard to see, I wished I could have gotten closer there is a cow painted over the entrance to this barn.
Such a little beauty almost hid by the grown up grass! I had to climb up on my pickup to get this picture. What a girl want do to get a picture!!

Well that's all of my barn pictures, it was alot of fun looking for them. Anytime we go on a trip I'm always looking at the beautiful old barns, so when Karen metioned the barn party I was so excited about it. I even had a man following me one day, he thought I was lost, told him what I was up to and then he started telling me where a I could find more barns. We went on a trip a few years ago, and we went thru Virginia, they had the most beautiful barns that I had ever seen, I took lots of pictures but never even got them developed because I lost the camera! Hope you enjoyed the Barns!!!

Oh Daphne! I loved making that bag.... it's SEW gorgeous! My "pearl.e" pattern that's used on this one is fantastic, isn't it?! SEW functional - one of my best sellers! And I think I still have a skirt kicking around from the faux suede fabric - GORGEOUSNESS!!! It looks FANTASTIC hanging on your model!!! And the fringe - hand cramp just looking at it again!!!

I think I'm drooling on the gray barn right now - great photos!!!

Have a wonderful week-end!

Hey Roblyn, It is gorgeous, and of course it's one of the many that I have kept for myself, you sewed many of our purses, I can remember picking up your business card from Joanns Fabric store when we needed more help, and we came by and talked to you about sewing for us, and you were so excited about sewing the vintage purses and later on when we started doing the vintage and western purses you did a really good job on them also. I can remember bringing jackets with the long leather on them for you to use on the purses and the belt buckles. I know it was alot of work but you always did a beautiful job on them!
ps Do you remember how many purse designs that I just drew on a piece of paper, you always seemed to get them the way that I wanted them! Blessings~~Daphne

You have so many wonderful photos! Love the old barns. Lots of my family is from the farm so I am quite familiar with 'the country'. We live way out now around lots of pastures and horses.

Thanks for visiting the cottage. Sorry it has taken so long to return the visit. My Yankee and I are still traveling around New England, and I don't have much access to a computer.

We "barn chicks" can just never get enough of old barns, can we? I love the ones you found...especially the with the blue bonnets!

I just joined you as a follower and will visit again when I return to NC.

Have a blessed week!
