What a surprise

I bought a few things from my friend Laurie, from Laurieanna's Vintage Home, at her Serendipity Market a few weeks ago. I just got around to taking my goodies out of the bag this morning. I had been wondering what I could use this burlap for, I really didn't have any ideals. I just knew I loved it and would find use for it somewhere, and boy was I surprised when I relized that the burlap fits perfect on my kitchen windows, the only problem now is I have to buy 3 more of them.
The burlap will work perfect for the new look I'm going for in my kitchen, although it will be awhile before I redo the entire kitchen, there is just not enough time in my busy schedule for a kitchen makeover, I'm trying to find some balance. Hopefully it won't have to wait to long.

I love these botanical prints. I haven't decided where to put them yet, but I'm sure I'll find a place for them soon.

I also bought these cute little burlap bags from Patina Green , they had a booth set up at Laurieanna's on the porch. I love these little bags you could do so many different things with them, you could just put a simple flower in each of them, are you can dress them up a bit. This is how I dressed mine up, with flowers, lace, brooches, old photo's, they would also be fun for the Holidays to put your favorite things in and display them.

I really love your burlap feedsacks. Also, that's a great idea to make a kitchen window treatment, can't wait to see it.
I love how you embellished the bags, too cute!

Yep, you HAVE to buy three more. You are obligated to do so.
In fact, I think you have to buy a lot more stuff, too. It's written somewhere... ;-)

Have a wonderful week!

Hi sweetie!
LOVE what you did to those burlap bags! We carry those same burlap "runners" as Laurie does and they have been a huge seller...but, we showed the ladies how to use the material as a bulletin board framed in an old tin frame. So, see there are many ways to use them...I figured you being a "purse" designer that you would somehow put the material into your purses? Can't wait to see the finished "windows"! xo...deb

So grand that you can use those on your windows. It's great when you find a starting point for a room redo. Thank you for visiting me today. Paper Cowgirl should be loads of fun. Soon the class schedule and registration should be posted. Would be so fun to see you there! ~ Angela

I saw those burlap pieces at Laurie Anna's too and wanted one so badly but I couldn't buy everything! I knew you were involved with Winnie & Tulula's - that is one other reason I wanted to go there! Fabulous place! Looked for you in Canton! ~ Connie

You got some great things. Like what you did with the bags. They would make nice bags for money or gift card gifts.
Thanks for stopping by.

Thanks so much for you're kind comment - you read my mind ...my plan after work (nurse in a high school health room of 2000) is to pick up my bible and search for a comforting verse or two. Hugs to you, love this post, Jennifer
