I love this dress/top, you can dress it up a bit with a beautiful scarf.
The top part is removable for another total different look.

I will be showing before and after pictures of our redo, as we go through the transformation of our kitchen. I love the ideal of putting marble on my island, and I'm already pretty sure that I want granite counter tops. I don't want it to be all the same, I like mixing different elements together!
Definitely going with all stainless appliances. After the kitchen is all redone I'll be getting my hands into some major decorating in our home, and yes this is where I come in. I do love the decorating part. I'm so ready for a total new look! I had planned to go with an elegant French look and of course everything being white and off whites, still want the whites but thinking for now I might go with a French farmhouse look. What do you think!

This is one of my newest designs, I've been doing the cowhide and vintage for a long time, but not in this style, and I really love the way it turned out! I love mixing cowhide with the beautiful vintage fabrics. I started doing these western purses years ago, because I had never seen anything like these before, and I loved the end result. On this one I used a vintage collar across the front, and it added the perfect touch to this purse. It's a look I would like to call all my very own.... for right now anyway!
At Daphne Nicole we do a little bit of everything from the vintage purses, canvas, lace and crochet pieces to the western chic. I'm the same way with materials as I am in decorating, I have many different styles, really too many sometimes it gets overwhelming!

When I had this booth I also had 3 other booths all in seperate directions, I did end up giving this one up, so now I had 3 places, opened my online store.... still to much , so I ended up giving up all of 3 booths. It's hard sometimes trying to get everything balanced out. I thought I could do it all, but learned that I can't do everything, ( it was wearing me out.) I love having my own on line boutique and love selling at Laurie's beautiful store! I think I'm doing exactly what I'm supposed to be doing now!
On to something a little different the picture above and the one's below where taken at Savannah Georgia on our vacation back in April. I saw some really beautiful homes there, but this one was my favorite of all.
I just love the gold trim around all of the windows, it's absolutely gorgeous!!!

I know my sweet dogs are ready for cooler weather too. I've been going out and soaking them with cool water during the day. They have never let me spray them with the water before, but now their loving it!
Praying that we get some cooler weather and rain soon!

Well I went to a wedding last week, but plan on staying home to watch I love Lucy marathon this weekend. It's my favorite thing to watch, you could say that I'm obsession with the show. I have it recorded and watch it most every night... can't go to sleep until I see an episode or 2, or 3 or 4. I don't get to watch much TV anymore except at night when I should be sleeping. I stay to busy for that, so I think it will be a nice change. I've been working on new items for my website this week, and do need a break. What will you be doing this weekend!
