Giveaway winner & a peek at new apparel

Before I get to the giveaway, I've had quite a few emails inquiring about my romantic apparel, it's been really low of inventory for a while now. Just wanted to let you know that I have been super busy and just haven't had the time to devote to it, but I'm going to try to do better. I have more things to add but it will probably be after Canton as I'm so far behind getting things ready for Laurie's store. So here is a peek of a few of the new items I will be adding. I would have showed more but just could not get good pictures today!

The Best For Last!

I told you I was saving the best for last.

I have to tell you Laurie had already told me that they were putting a little camper inside the store. Well when I got there I'm looking around the shop for it, a little later Laurie ask me if I saw the camper and I told her no, so she took me to it. I was so surprised when she showed it to me because I had in fact saw it but didn't realize that it was a camper. As you can see in the photo, it was decorated so pretty in the Shabby Chic style you wouldn't think of it as being a camper!
Well that's all for now. I have to get back to work as it's getting close to time for another Canton. Where did the month go? I had no ideal it was this close to Canton until I looked at the calender yesterday.... so I'm off to work. Ruffles & Lace

I'm so excited about plans for my kitchen redo. The contractor thinks he will be able to start on it next month. I can't hardly wait!
While their working on the kitchen, I'll be looking at new bedding and drapes for all the bedrooms, living room, dinning room, and den! I already have curtains for the kitchen!
I'm having such a hard time deciding on things. I have so many likes that it's so hard for me to make up my mind about what I want! I'm pretty sure that whatever I pick out it has to have some ruffles and lace!

Love the beautiful chandelier.


Can't wait to get started on everything. I will be showing before and after pictures when the makeover's begin! Hope everyone is having a lovely Monday!!!

Vintage Finds!!!

Although this is not a recent find, thought I would share this beauty too, I've had her for several years. I purchased her at an estate sale. I've had her in storage but I think it's time she found a place in our home. I think she's beautiful.

I just love vintage baby shoes..... and found this one made into a pin cushion. Isn't it cute?
I'm such a sucker for vintage clothing, had to have it!
Found this frame and will be adding it to my website!



I thought this was a cool piece, never seen a juicer quite like this one!
I know I normally show mostly feminine things, but I do love the old boxes, primitives, rusty old iron pieces and the list goes on!
Had to close with a bit of lace. Hope you enjoyed my newly found treasures. What kinda things to you like to collect?

Great weekend at Laurie Anna's Vintage Home!

I thought I would share a some of the many pictures I took while at Laurie's this past weekend. It was a great show and so much fun. Being the great show that it was, means I've got to get back to working on more purses and pillows.

This was one of my favorite things in the store. I love how all of the signs were grouped together!

Laurie dressed these little beauties, their so dang cute!!!

I love seeing the pumpkins out. After such a hot/dry summer I'm so ready for Fall weather!
