That said, I do find that the Lord often has to slow me down in interesting ways just because I do have the inclination to always be moving at warp speed otherwise and not take enough time for myself. In my head and Heart I know that I need the 'down time' for restoration of the body, mind and Spirit... and to be still so that I can get back to Center and keep my Calm. But there always seems to be so many demands upon my time and so much to do... I'm learning to slow down on purpose at this Season of Life, it's a big shift but I must say I'm quite enjoying it and Blogging has given me a reason to take more walks, more photos, more quiet reflective time and connect. We're all more similar than we may realize and it's in visiting the Posts of others I'm discovering that Truth.

Dawn... Sometimes I think illness is our body's way of getting us to just stop and rest.
Like I said, I'm beginning to stand up and be accountable for my time. I budget my money...why not my time? First thing I'm going to try to do is give it all to God and then He can give it back to me to use as He sees fit. This is going to be tough...I'm used to being in charge...silly me! Looking around me...I'm obviously not a good time manager.
It's time for me to prioritize beginning with what absolutely has got to be done or finished.
Thanks for the shout out. I've decided to do only what I want to these days-it's my time schedule and sometimes doing nothing is what we need-we just need to learn it's o.k. to do so! As far as the projects-I always start one and then move to another-it's the way my creativity flows-it will get done when it's supposed to! I dont think its really a problem fr...Dear Daphne,
I dont think its really a problem from any of us.. It s just a nature of a soul that wants to do everything at once because of any great ideas! So we start a few things... we need such a mess in our artsy world, its what makes us beautiful! The most important thing is that we finish everything we start.. whether one by one or all at once it doesnt matter... lol At least we get it!

As for pictures... you know how to do a great many wonderful things, and now you want pics too? LOL inspiration galore! For me, my daughter makes great pics, and we always argue because I come asking for her to make mine at night... and she wonders why not in the morning? (better light) But I love to do my stuff at night, and I love dark, (but detailed) pictures... which are hard to do... so yeah, youre not alone in this... we're all crazy! :D

Go back to bed and rest, recuperate, theres nothing wrong... we're all like this! ^.^ but that's why the world loves us...

Hugs,Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03114482618134817788noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6276031530063916610.post-66741149425574508492011-02-27T18:07:04.411-08:002011-02-27T18:07:04.411-08:00I want to thank each of you for your sweet comment...I want to thank each of you for your sweet comments, I think that there are many of us that are so alike, in the fact that we try to do to many things, such as keeping our booths decorated and stocked in the Antique Malls, creating things to put in our shops, or online stores, volunteering, keeping the house clean, taking care of the kids, and the two most important things to me is spending alone time with GOD, and spending time with my family, but they seem to be the 2 that always gets the left over's, because I'm too busy in my own little world trying to get everything else done... I really think God is wanting me to slow down a bit and remember what is really important. I love what I do, but I have to find a balance with it all, because I have not been happy for a while now because I don't seem to have the time to even catch my breath anymore, and I don't think that's the way we are suppose to live... and I'm going to work very hard to make some good changes. Sorry this was such a long post! Thanks again for your sweet comments!
hugs~~~ DaphneDaphne Nicole & Lynda Cadehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03286669936405188118noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6276031530063916610.post-56336170746050702572011-02-27T16:11:14.209-08:002011-02-27T16:11:14.209-08:00After reading your post....and admiring your goodi...After reading your post....and admiring your goodies....I thought I would share the fact that I currently have 2 rooms in my house that are half way painted...because I never finished.....I have tons of projects but they bore me and I move on....Sometimes I feel broken and I need repaired!!! I used to more so than I do now. It took me forever to learn to say no.
What I still struggle with is wanting to give 110% to everything that I do. I just work and give until I have nothing left. Truth be known, everything would be just as great if I only gave a solid 100%.
I am sorry you are not feeling well. I am forever trying to complete several projects at once. I'm juggling three booths now and it is becoming a chore rather than a joy as it started out to be. I am somewhat of a perfectionist so I never ask for help. I try to do it all. I get an idea in my head and I cannot wait to start making it come true to life. The problem is that there are so many ideas in my head that I wear myself out!!!
I don't know the answer but I do know that sometimes we just have to slow down.

Be good to yourself and get better.

hugs
SissieSissie's Shabby Cottagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01142205878984008123noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6276031530063916610.post-66734125760563302762011-02-27T14:39:08.372-08:002011-02-27T14:39:08.372-08:00Fun post!
